What's new
93 improvements shipped since 25 May 2026. We release most weeks — this is the running record, newest first.
Have an idea or spot a problem? Signed-in customers can tell us from Support inside the app, or create a free account.
November 2026
Tell us whether a fix worked
ImprovedWhen a problem you reported is marked fixed, Support asks whether it fixed it for you. Tap Yes and it's closed; tap Still happening and your reply reopens it straight away. Status updates can now come with a short note explaining what changed.
Support fills the screen on your phone
ImprovedOpening Support on a phone now gives you a full-screen view instead of a small box, with the close button clear of everything else. A message you start and don't send is kept for next time, and on a computer Cmd or Ctrl + Enter sends it.
Technicians can report a problem from the field app
NewSupport is now in the field app for every role: More → Support, Profile → Report a problem, or the link at the bottom of any job. Typed with no signal, the message is saved and sent when you're back in range. A Problem can carry one photo or screenshot, kept private to your company.
Support tells you exactly when you'll hear back
ImprovedSupport now shows one clear promise: Megumi reads every message and replies within one business day, and is alerted the moment you send one. When a reply or a 'done' comes back, the notification opens the thread in one click and reaches your phone if alerts are on. Writing back on a finished message reopens it.
The app opens straight to your jobs
FixedIf you added AProjx to your Home Screen while signing up, tapping it no longer shows the set-up questions again. Once your business is set up, it takes you straight to your jobs.
Imported forms keep their signatures required
ImprovedWhen you import an existing form, every signature box now comes through as required, so a sign-off form can't be submitted unsigned.
Zoom and tap-to-focus in the field camera
NewThe quick camera for field report photos and contents capture now has 0.5×, 1×, 2× and 3× zoom buttons (whichever your phone supports), and on phones that allow it you can tap the screen to focus on a crack, label or meter.
Quicker AI for job, contents and form imports
FasterReading a work order into a new job, listing contents from photos, importing a form and the Ask AI box now run on a faster AI model. Reports, damage photo analysis and meter readings stay on the most capable one.
Schedule always shows bookings on the right day
FixedMorning bookings now appear in the correct day on the schedule from the moment the page opens, and the notification bell quietly reconnects if your connection drops while your computer or phone is asleep.
Clearer sign-up
ImprovedThe sign-up page now says up front that AProjx is free during the beta with no ABN or credit card needed, and you tick a box to agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy, which open in a new tab so you can read them without losing your details.
Install guide works on the newest iPhones
ImprovedThe latest iPhone software hides Safari's Share button behind a menu, which stalled some installs. The aprojx.com/install guide now shows where to find it, so techs can put AProjx on their Home Screen in a minute.

Office pages double-check who's viewing
SecurityEvery office page — jobs, quotes, invoices, clients, settings and the rest — now checks for itself that the person opening it is office staff, on top of the existing check. Field technicians keep using the field app.
Photos of tickets and licences
NewSecurityAttach a photo of each white card or licence — front and back — or a PDF certificate, right on the ticket. They're kept private: only your office staff can open them, through a link that expires after a few minutes.
Contractors on the schedule
NewYour contractors now have their own rows on the schedule. Drag a job onto a contractor's day to book them — it makes a draft work order you send when you're ready — and see at a glance whether each one has been sent, accepted or finished. Work orders also show the days the contractor is on site.
Tickets and licences, with expiry warnings
NewRecord each team member's white card, IICRC certificates, asbestos and first-aid tickets and licences, with their expiry dates. The office bell rings 30 days and 7 days before one runs out and on the day it expires, the Team page lists what needs attention, and the schedule flags anyone whose ticket has lapsed.
Time off and double-booking warnings on the schedule
NewFasterMark a team member as away — annual leave, sick, training — and the schedule shows it, asking before you book them that day. Anyone on two jobs at the same time is flagged "Double-booked", and the schedule now opens faster by loading only the week you're looking at.
Job alerts on your techs' lock screens
NewInstall AProjx on an iPhone or Android Home Screen and turn on job alerts — techs get a lock-screen alert when they're given a new job, a booking moves or their report is approved. The app also tells them when a new version is ready, and never updates while photos are still uploading.
Rename a quote any time
ImprovedClick the pencil next to a quote's title to change it — the old title is highlighted, so you just type the new one. Quotes made from a field report are now named after the job instead of showing as "Untitled".
Download PDF gives you a real file, in every browser
FixedImprovedDownload PDF on quotes, invoices and reports now saves a finished PDF file straight away — no print window — and it comes out complete in Safari, Chrome and on phones alike.
Send quotes, invoices and reports from Gmail or Outlook
ImprovedNext to "Open email" there are now Gmail and Outlook buttons, which open the same ready-to-send email in your web inbox — handy when your computer opens a different mail app.
PDFs save properly in Safari
FixedIn Safari and on iPhone or iPad, reports, quotes and invoices now open ready to print — click Print / Save as PDF once the page has loaded, and the PDF comes out complete instead of blank.
Saves never fail silently after an update
FixedIf AProjx was updated while a page was open, you now get a clear message and a Refresh button instead of a save that seems to do nothing. The help button moved out of the way of Save buttons — open Support from the sidebar, or the header on smaller screens.
Undo a quote approval
NewApproved or declined by mistake? Click Undo approval on the quote. It goes back to Draft, and you send it again when it's ready. An answered quote can no longer be resent by accident, which used to undo the approval without saying so.
Clients can approve quotes from the link
NewThe quote link you send now has Approve and Decline buttons, with the client's name and any notes saved on the quote. Client said yes by phone instead? Click Mark as approved and note who agreed.
Invoices paid in instalments show as Paid
FixedWhen several payments add up to exactly what's owed, the invoice now always shows as Paid — and the job completes on its own once every invoice on it is paid.
Tighter checks on scheduling and photo notes
SecurityScheduling a job and editing a site photo's notes now double-check that the job, team member and report all belong to your company, and we now catch and fix errors faster.
Your data stays in Australia, and Founding seats can't expire before billing opens
ImprovedOur Privacy Policy now says exactly where your data lives: your account, jobs, photos and documents are stored in Sydney. And a Founding seat can no longer lapse before you've had the chance to pay — you'll have 30 days to subscribe once billing opens, and we'll email you when it does.
Founding seats, made clear
ImprovedSettings → Billing now shows whether your Founding seat is reserved or confirmed, and our Terms spell out exactly what the A$49-for-life price includes, how a seat is confirmed, and that it's one per business.
See your office seats in Billing
ImprovedSettings → Billing now shows how many office seats (owners, admins and managers) you're using out of your plan's allowance. Technicians stay unlimited on every plan, and extra office seats can be added whenever you need them.
Cleaner confirmations everywhere
Improved"Are you sure?" questions — deleting a task, note, form or photo, removing your logo, sharing a visit — now appear in AProjx's own dialog instead of the browser's grey pop-up, on desktop and in the field app.
GST shown on quotes and invoices on screen
ImprovedThe totals on the quote and invoice screens now say GST for Australian and New Zealand businesses, matching the printed documents.
Invoices include GST, and AI reports stick to what was recorded
FixedImprovedInvoices made from a job now use your tax rate instead of starting at 0%, and documents are dated in your own timezone. AI-written reports now include the work your technician noted as done, and only mention photos or readings that were actually taken. Plus: estimates say "Estimate" on restoration jobs, ABNs print in groups, and forms fill in the insurer, claim number and address from the job.
Clearer pricing on the website and in Settings
ImprovedThe pricing page now spells out what happens when the beta ends: the first 20 companies pay A$49 a month for life, and company 21 onwards pays A$99. Settings → Billing shows your plan in Australian dollars and says plainly that it's free during the beta.
Founding price: the first 20 companies keep A$49 for life
NewThe first 20 companies to sign up are Founding accounts — A$49 a month, locked for as long as they stay, even after new customers pay the launch price (Standard A$99, Business A$199). Still free for everyone until the beta ends, and the website shows how many seats are left.
Browser security hardening
SecurityEvery page now carries the standard browser protections against clickjacking and content sniffing, the Ask AProjx search counts toward your AI allowance like every other AI feature, and search engines are told exactly which pages are public.
Platform security update
SecurityThe core framework AProjx runs on was upgraded to the latest release, clearing every published security advisory. No action needed on your side.
Pop-up windows stay open until you close them
ImprovedClicking outside a form no longer closes it and throws away what you typed. Every pop-up now closes only from its own ✕ or Cancel button.
Standards & References have their own section
NewCodes and standards no longer clutter every line of an AI-written report. They're listed in a separate section you can include or leave out — off by default.
Invited staff can join the team or start their own business
NewSomeone who signs up from a team invite now chooses between joining that company or setting up their own. Team members can also leave a company themselves.
Field reports can be saved as PDF
NewFixedA PDF button on every field report produces a letterhead document with the room table, photos, works completed and sign-off. Report PDFs are also about ten times smaller and save reliably.
Shorter, clearer AI reports
ImprovedAI-written reports now lead with the key point, keep paragraphs short and list findings as bullet points — without dropping a single reading or measurement.
Delete photos from the desktop, with a safety check
NewSite and uploaded photos can be removed from a job's Photos section, one at a time or in bulk. A two-step confirmation makes clear the deletion is permanent.
Servers moved next to the database
FasterAProjx now runs in Sydney, beside its database, instead of the United States. Every page and every save is noticeably quicker.
Saving is instant across the platform
FasterEditing a job, client, invoice note, task, team member or setting now updates the screen the moment you click Save, while the save finishes in the background.
Tighter permissions for office-only actions
SecurityManaging the team, company settings, quotes, invoices and deletions is now enforced on the server for office roles, not just hidden from field technicians.
Message and invoice connected companies directly
NewCompanies in your network get a direct conversation thread, and a work-request job can be invoiced straight to the connected company.
Built for the United States too
NewUS companies see US trade wording (Estimate, Scope of Work), feet and square feet, and American spelling across the office dashboard and the field app.
Import your existing forms with AI
NewUpload a Word, PDF or photo of a form you already use and AProjx rebuilds it as an editable template for your review.
Free during beta
NewEverything in AProjx is free while we're in beta. The A$49 plan applies only once beta ends, and the Terms say so.
A public home page
Newaprojx.com now explains what AProjx does before you sign in.
Quotes record who approved them
NewThe person who approved a quote is shown on the quote and on the client's own view, and you're warned before linking a quote to a closed job.
Reminders that tell you what happened
ImprovedJob reminders report whether they were sent, link straight to the job for technicians and to the portal for clients, and are signed with your company name.
Printable quotes and consistent letterheads
NewImprovedQuotes print as proper documents, and your logo is the same size on every document — report, invoice, quote, order and form — with a clean white letterhead.
September 2026
AI allowance and top-up packs
NewAI features now come with a monthly allowance of AI actions (200 a month at the time; it now depends on your plan — see Pricing). Need more? A top-up of 50 actions for A$25 never expires.
Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
NewOur legal documents are published and your acceptance is recorded. The Privacy Policy names exactly which documents are sent to the AI provider.
Each job has its own trade
NewPick the trade per job — all eleven are offered — and the job's wording, fields and AI reports follow it. A renovation and a water claim on the same account read differently.
Dates in your timezone, everywhere
FixedEvery date on screen and on printed documents is shown in your company's locale and timezone, so a job booked at 9pm never shows yesterday's date.
A simpler job page
NewEleven tabs became six. The Overview shows what's happened and what's waiting, Site Visits is a timeline, and Billing summarises quotes and invoices in one strip.
Reports: Initial, Progress and Final
NewChoose the kind of report, fill it by hand or with AI, review it in place, pick the photos, then send — which locks that version so what the insurer holds never changes.
AI reports in about ten seconds
FasterGenerating a report with AI takes roughly ten seconds instead of twenty-five.
Site visits
NewEvery attendance is its own dated visit on the job, with its own photo folders, an in-visit checklist of what's done and what's next, a shot list per room and drying readings at a glance.
Atmospheric readings from a photo
NewPhotograph the moisture meter and AProjx reads the values, works out the derived figures and adds them to the drying log.
Phase-based restoration reports
NewRestoration reports read as a chronological log of phases. Manage phases on the job, seed them from a field report or quote, and pull them into a report with a reusable phrase library.
Quote → Job
ImprovedA quote without a job offers Convert to Job; one with a job takes you straight to it. Invoicing happens from the job.
August 2026
Security hardening
SecurityAdditional database-level protection was added across the platform.
July 2026
Staff profile photos and job form attachments
NewTeam members have profile photos, and the office can attach forms to a job as a checklist technicians complete on site.
Support Center
NewA help bubble for problems and questions, plus an idea board where customers suggest and vote on features.
Custom form builder
NewBuild your own forms with thirteen field types — including photos and signatures — and fill them per job on the phone or desktop. Submissions keep the form exactly as it was when filled.
Photo appendix on reports
NewPrinted and shared job reports end with a numbered photo appendix, grouped by room and stage, with click-to-enlarge on screen.
Activity feed and notifications
NewA two-tier activity feed: everything that happens on your jobs, and a bell for the things that need a manager.
Rapid contents capture
NewCapture insurance contents in a fast burst of photos; AI fills in the item details and flags anything that needs a second look. A contents schedule drops straight into reports.
June 2026
Field app audit
FixedA full review of the field app fixed 27 issues — time clock, offline sync, timezones and more.
Insurance contents capture
NewPhotograph a damaged item and AI fills in its description, brand, model and condition.
Reports without AI, and bulk photo download
NewDraft a report straight from the field report at no AI cost, then polish with AI only if you want. Select photos on a job and download them as a zip.
The field app works offline
NewInstall AProjx on your phone's home screen. Photos and notes queue while you're out of signal and sync when you're back. GPS stamps clock-ins and photos, and customers sign off on the phone.
Burst camera, room measurements and price lists
NewAn in-app camera for rapid photo capture, length × width × height per room, and a price-list picker for scope items — with a configurable field report template for the office.
FieldVault is now AProjx
NewNew name, new icon, a collapsible sidebar, job chat with emoji and attachments, and a unified Attachments tab.
New sign-in and password reset
NewA redesigned sign-in screen and a proper forgot-password flow.
International English
NewSpelling, currency and date formats follow your company's country.
Trade-aware AI reports
NewImprovedAI reports use the right terminology, checks and compliance focus for your trade and region, and the job pipeline's guided steps do the real work before advancing.
Custom report builder
NewDesign your own report template — sections, fields and tables — then fill it per job by hand or with AI. Hourly rates per team member show estimated versus actual labour cost.
Invoices complete the job
NewWhen every invoice on a job is paid, the job completes itself. Invoices carry your bank details for payment, and payment history is recorded.
Technicians can raise jobs on site
NewFasterAn emergency job can be created from the phone; the office sees it flagged for review. Photos and attachments upload in parallel.
Download invoices as PDF
NewInvoices open as a printable document you can save as PDF.
The company network
NewConnect with other companies, send curated work requests that become mirrored jobs, exchange quotes and invoices, message across companies and list yourself in an opt-in directory.
Ask AProjx
NewAsk a question in plain English and get matching jobs, invoices and quotes. Plus a weekly cost chart against budget and automatic client messages at key stages.
Clients approve quotes online
NewClients approve or decline quotes in their portal. Schedule shows each person's workload, jobs move through a drag-and-drop Kanban, and stalled jobs raise an alert.
Invoices straight from the job
NewCreate an invoice from a job's scope of works, preview it, edit its dates, and delete quotes or invoices from the list.
Share with clients — no login needed
NewSend quotes, invoices and reports as secure links, with a one-click email draft from your own inbox. Edit and archive clients, and assign several people to multi-day jobs.
Drag-and-drop scheduling
NewSchedule jobs by dragging them onto the calendar, auto-fill a new job from a dropped work order, and use the richer two-step New Job form.
May 2026
AI photo analysis on site
NewTechnicians' photos are analysed for damage type and severity, and scope items are suggested — without slowing down capture.
A field app built for technicians
NewBefore / During / After photo stages, auto-saving multi-shot capture with on-device compression, one-tap tasks, hours on the job and a separate experience for phones and desktops.
AProjx launches
NewJobs, field reports, quotes, invoices and a team — with AI-generated job reports from day one.
